I studied photography at Gray's School of Art in which I achieved a degree with distinction.

During my studies I worked as a property photographer for First Photographics. The role involved me travelling to commercial and residential properties within set timeframes and giving creative feedback to clients, ensuring he captured the highest quality of professional imagery. I have also had various commissions to do event photography ranging from religious ceremonies to environmental conferences.

I am interested in pop culture and how photography and art can be used to visualize it. My creative inspiration comes from artists and photographers, such as Andy Warhol and William Egglestone,  who saw the everyday world of consumerism worthy of becoming art.  

I am also passionate about  documenting the urban environment. Though I have spent a lot of my life living in small cities and towns I have always enjoyed exploring big, noisy and chaotic environments. I am fascinated by architecture and how it is incorporated into the environment, sharing space with other other man made structures. 

My photographic vision is not only to document these urban landscapes but also do it from a less obvious viewpoint. Social media has become saturated with photographic imagery that feels like a regurgitation the same familiar narratives. I constantly look for subject matter that would perhaps be missed because it does not conform to what is expected of a typical landscape photograph.
