Station to Station

During the early spring of 2024 I set of in my old red Mazda car with the purpose of exploring Britain. I wanted to experience the service stations, roadside cafes, business’s and observe the people that I saw along the way.

My goal was to see what Britain was like from the perspective of the roadside. A Britain still dealing with the hangover from Brexit. A Britain that has been governed by the conservative party since 2010. A Britain emerging from the shadow of a global pandemic. A Britain in the middle of a cost-of- living crisis. An uncertain Britain.

This is what I found.
